Chinese Food by jessica

Clark has one morning class - Mass Communication in Society - then he's spending the rest of the weekend at the penthouse. Lex hopes it becomes a regular occurrence. He's sure Simon will appreciate having the room to himself on weekends too.

Lex has been waiting since noon. Since he woke up, really. He promised Clark the first week of school for himself, to settle in and make new friends. It's the end of that week now and Lex took the day off work because he hasn't seen Clark since Saturday and hasn't spoken to him since Tuesday. He jerked off in bed and then again in the shower. He couldn't get any work done, so he ordered a pizza and read the GQ Fall issue from back to front because he'd already done it the other way. The pizza arrived and Clark didn't.

He's two hours late when the door finally opens. Clark walks in, dropping two shopping bags and his backpack at the door and is followed by a gorgeous boy that sparks Lex's jealousy from the first look.

"Lex, you're here." Clark's voice is caught, happy surprise and just a bit of guilt. He turns away and to his friend carrying a big brown paper bag. "Stick that in the kitchen, Ethan. Just through there." Clark points the way.

The boy - Ethan - grins at Clark, then Lex, because he knows. Of course, he knows. He's carrying Chinese food into Lex's kitchen because Clark brought his new best friend over to have dinner with the old one.

Clark's guilt seems to disappear when he steps forward, kneeling next to Lex on the couch and kissing him. It's the kind of kiss that usually traps intelligent thoughts elsewhere than Lex's brain, but this time he can only think Chemistry and the Laws of Matter. Clark's innocent guilt hasn't disappeared, only transfered and transformed itself in Lex.

"So, you're making new friends?"

"I am," Clark answers, but he's waiting for the real question.

"Just friends?"

Clark sighs, rolls his eyes, and shoves Lex away. Then he pulls him back into a blinding kiss.

"Just because there are gay guys at school, doesn't mean I want to sleep with them." Clark says it carefully, making sure Lex hears every word. "It doesn't even mean that they want to sleep with me."

"Everyone wants to sleep with you, Clark." Lex pushes Clark back onto the couch with a kiss, settling himself on top, moving with Clark's hands on his ass.

"You're stupid, Lex," Clark says, with no conviction behind it.

"No. I'm not." Lex pulls at Clark's t-shirt and drags his nails over the skin underneath.

"God, I missed you this week."

Ducking his head, Clark kisses the hollow of Lex's throat and starts sucking a mark. While he's distracted, Lex keeps an eye on the door.

"Clark. Clark." Lex bites his earlobe to get his attention. "Chinese food, Clark."

"Mmm, right." He rolls carefully out from under Lex, and holds out a hand to pull him up off the couch. "You have to meet Ethan, but I'm really nervous."

"Do I get kisses on the couch and greasy noodles every time you have a new friend over?"

Ethan's sitting on a stool, already digging into a carton of those noodles. He's even better looking up close and gives them both a playful smile.

"You boys get reacquainted?" Clark lets go of Lex's hand to smack Ethan over the head. He digs through the bag, throwing Lex chopsticks, then checks two cartons before throwing Lex the noodles. Lex watches Ethan watching them. "I've been hogging him, haven't I?" Ethan grins.

"It's fine," Lex says, and he's sure he believes it.
